Curriculum Description:

Wells International School’s instructional foundation is the American curriculum, which has been adapted to fit the diverse needs of an international student body in Thailand. It holds all students to high academic standards, expecting them to not only retain content, but to also critically analyze and evaluate that knowledge. Comprehension of the standards is assessed twice each year using the tenth and most recent Standardized Application Test (SAT10). Additionally, students are encouraged to find ways in which they can make a difference for the better in their lives and those of others through the application of the lessons both inside and outside the school walls; all students must accumulate a minimum number of community service hours at the high school level. Lastly, the rigorous requirements are standardized through the teaching of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), SAT Reasoning Test (SAT), Preliminary SAT (PSAT) and Advanced Placement (AP) courses, all of which extensively prepare secondary students for studies at universities worldwide and even allow them to earn university credit.
