III. Add Your International School's Location
Immediately after adding the Overview information, you will see the Location heading and the map.

For example, note that the address, phone, fax and coordinates are all presented together.
Editing Your Address
Type in your street address in the "Street" field. I suggest putting a mailing address, if you have a separate address just for mail, in the "Additional" field. City works, but State/Province does not work well. Postal code needs to be filled in and, of course, your host country should already be selected from the drop-down menu.
But the map coordinates are not done, yet.
Adding Your School's Geographical Coordinates
It is easy to see where to put your phone and fax numbers, but despite the ever-present nature of Google and its maps, some of us have resisted finding out how to get the map working. I suggest asking someone to do it if you are at all anxious about it, but there is something you must, probably, do yourself as the school's authorized representative.
Join Google Places if you haven't yet done so. Why? Because that's how you get your school's name and a place-marker to show on Google's maps. Considering Google's extremely large percentage of Web traffic, it's critical that each school be listed.
Here's a link to the page ( https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLogin?service=lbc&passive=1209600...)
Now, if you go to Google, before or after you've joined Google Places, you can search for your school, drag the marker to the right location, and right click on it.
From the resulting drop-down menu, choose to center the marker on the map.
Then, in the upper right-hand corner of every Google map, you can click on the "link" in the upper right-hand corner (I know, it seems everything is in the upper-right these days).
Find the "embed" code. In the spaghetti of code, you'll be looking for something that looks like ... coordinates! Something like these: 13.0376,101.491373.
Paste the ones you find into the fields on your ischoolnet.org page and hit tab a few times to get the computer to take notice.
My code looks like this:
<iframe width="425" height="350" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" src="http://maps.google.co.th/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=13.718978,100.79735&spn=0.008359,0.01929&t=h&z=16&iwloc=A&output=embed"></iframe><br /><small><a href="http://maps.google.co.th/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=13.718978,100.79735&spn=0.008359,0.01929&t=h&z=16&iwloc=A&source=embed" style="color:#0000FF;text-align:left">View Larger Map</a></small>
I've emboldened the coordinates, which appear twice. 13.718978,100.79735 is two decimals separated by a comma. The first one is the latitude and the second the longitude.
Find yours and paste them in.
The map should now show your marker. If it's not exactly correctly located, you can drag it into place. Be patient. When satisfied, scroll down and save.
